At least he has a sense of humor. Sometimes, a wrestling storyline just does not quite work for a variety of reasons. It might not be a complete failure and there are good things to it, but for some reason it just does not click entirely. It’s even worse when it has to be cut off due to reasons beyond the wrestlers’ control. However, sometimes you’ll get a little update at the end to make things somewhat better, which may be the case here.
You may not remember it, but back in 2017, Jason Jordan was revealed as Kurt Angle’s illegitimate son. This was the biggest break of Jordan’s career and gave him a chance to do something major on his own. However, the story never quite clicked and Jordan was forced to retire due to a severe neck issue. Now though, we’re getting a little reminder of what would have been, with a smile as a bonus.
Over the weekend, Jordan announced that he and his wife are expecting their first child, a daughter, in 2020. Angle responded on Twitter, congratulating Jordan on the news. Angle also mentioned that he hoped the girl looked like her mother, while also thanking Jordan for making him an expectant grandfather. Jordan last wrestled at the 2018 Royal Rumble and has been working backstage as a WWE producer.
Soooo we have a baby girl coming in 2020! pic.twitter.com/BAVf6qL6kc

Congrats to my 1st son @JasonJordanJJ on the great news that he and his wife are having a baby girl. No offense, but I hope she looks like her mom, and not like us. ?Are you going to name her after me? Kurtina? Just a suggestion. Regardless,I’m proud to be an expecting grandpa.

This could have been interesting. Check out the start to the whole story:
Opinion: I chuckled at Angle’s reaction as he seems to have a good sense of humor about the whole thing. He is someone who has always been entertaining and this is just a funny joke in good taste. Angle and Jordan could have had some interesting stories between them for a long time to come, but if Jordan’s retirement allowed him to have a daughter, it might have been worth it.
