It happens to everyone. There are all kinds of wrestlers in the world and different kinds of way to wrestle a match. However, there is one thing that is consistent through all of them: they can get hurt. Since wrestling is a contact sport, there is always the chance that someone could get hurt. That was the case this week on SmackDown when a wrestlers was sent to the injured list.
One of the more interesting stories over the last few months has been the rise of Drew Gulak. Earlier in the year, Daniel Bryan befriended Gulak and the two have become not only friends but a tag team, meaning that when one of them feuds with someone, the other often does as well. That was on display earlier this week and it wound up being a problem for one of them.
Gulak has mentioned on Twitter that he is currently out of action due to an injury caused by King Corbin, Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura. The trio attacked Gulak during this week’s SmackDown after Corbin defeated Gulak. Following the match, Corbin attacked Gulak with his scepter. There is no word on how long Gulak will be out of action or if the injury is real or a storyline.
Thanks to Corbin, Cesaro, and Shinsuke I'm out due to injury but I'm also missing out on what would have been my first Money in the Bank match. No matter how many times I get an opportunity stripped away, I survive, I get back up, and I GET BETTER. @WWEDanielBryan, give 'em hell! https://t.co/YTYV6Mu4WS

He can do some good things when he’s healthy. Check out Gulak in the ring:
Opinion: This is sad to hear as Gulak has been getting better by the week. He’s always had the in-ring abilities and it is nice to see him getting a chance like this. Gulak can do all kinds of things in the ring and it took this Bryan story to make it work. I’m not sure how far he can go, but it is great to see him getting a chance for once. That’s something WWE can use and hopefully it happens again.
What do you think of Gulak? How far can he go in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
