Let’s make it three. Dominating any sport is a difficult task to pull off. There are all kinds of great athletes all over the sports world and having one person on top of any sport is rather impressive. To be able to do that in two different sports is almost unthinkable, but it has been done a time or two. Now, one of the few people to take two sports by storm is going after a new form of competition.

In January 2018, Ronda Rousey made her WWE debut and was immediately one of the biggest stars the company had ever seen. After dominating the UFC and becoming one of the strongest attractions in mixed martial arts history, it was time for something new. Rousey would rocket to the top of WWE and main event WrestleMania 35. With live sports currently on hiatus though, it is time to find something new, and Rousey may have done just that.

Rousey is currently participating in a Mortal Kombat tournament called Kombat For A Kause with money being raised to help fight the Coronavirus. The Mortal Kombat 11 tournament is being streamed on Facebook and includes other celebrities such as Dimitri Thivaois and more. The finals will be taking place on Sunday April 26 with donations being accepted for the United Nations Foundations.

Rousey has been practicing. Check out her training for the tournament:

Opinion: This is something that can be fun while also raising money for a good cause. Rousey is a known Mortal Kombat fan so if she can do something fun and good at the same time, why not? If nothing else there’s a good idea to having someone famous for their combat skills involved a fighting game so their ideas are in the right place. Having some fun is a nice thing right now and this sounds like it could be entertaining.
