Ohyes. With a month to go before NXT “Takeover: Orlando”, a good chunk of the card can be pieced together without anything being officially announced. One of the matches that isn’t clear yet is the NXT Title match as Champion Bobby Roode doesn’t have a #1 contender for the big show. As of this week’s episode of “NXT” though, he does have a #1 contender for two weeks from now.

This week on “NXT”, General Manager William Regal announced that Roode will defend his NXT Title against the returning Kassius Ohno on the March 15 show. Ohno hasn’t wrestled a match in NXT in over three years but returned last week and got the better of an impromptu brawl with the champion. You can read this week’s “NXT” results here.

Opinion: The other important part of the story is the return of Shinsuke Nakamura, who will be back in action next week, marking his return to the ring for the first time since Roode beat him for the title. I don’t think Ohno gets the title so soon but I’d imagine that he has it at some point before the year is out, probably defeating Roode for it later down the line.
