Much has been made about Big Show’s potential match with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal at Wrestlemania this year. The battle of two of literally the biggest athletes in the world could be a seat packer in and of itself. However, the closer we get to the match, the further away we get.

It appears as though Shaq is having reservations in having the match, as he has since said that the match is “not looking good” on his podcast. As such, in a recent interview with The Sporting News, The Big Show had a lot to say regarding the Wrestlemania match, which he stated may be his last.

“You know, I still don’t know if it’s off yet or not. I don’t know,” he stated in regards to whether the match will actually happen. But as far as Shaq’s hesitance, he states, “I understand the fact that if it’s something that he doesn’t want to do, that he’s scared of, that’s fine but don’t put the blame on me because it isn’t me. Just own up to it and say you’re scared and that’s that.”

Shaquille O'Neal enters the 3rd annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal: WrestleMania 32

While he states that he is just talking trash to Shaq, it does seem that O’Neal indeed could be experiencing jitters.
