The saga with the Wyatt Family could potentially get a lot more interesting.

According to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet, Erick Rowan has been medically cleared to compete, following a torn rotator cuff. He had to have surgery, and has been out of action since October 2016.

Rowan has been a member of the Wyatt Family since his debut with the company. However, he has not been given a singles push, unlike his brethren, Luke Harper and Braun Strowman.

WWE Champion Bray Wyatt was recently put in a precarious position as of late, following the turn of his former family member, Randy Orton. “The Viper” was shown at the house where the remains of Sister Abigail were kept, and proceeded to burn it to the ground.

However, there are currently two No. 1 contenders for the championship at WrestleMania, because even though Orton won the “Royal Rumble” and earned the right to compete for the title, he originally said that he refused to face Wyatt. Therefore, through a series of events, AJ Styles finally defeated Luke Harper on “Smackdown Live” to become the new No. 1 contender.

Editor’s Note:

The timing of this could not have worked out any better for all involved. Wyatt loses a soldier in Orton, but he gets one back in Rowan.
