Tag Team Match Set for Next Week’s “Smackdown Live”

Consider this a dry run for Orlando. With “Wrestlemania XXXIII” just over a month away, a lot of the card has already been either set in motion or at least heavily rumored. Tonight on “Smackdown Live”, another major match was heavily teased and could be set up soon as John Cena and Nikki Bella chased off the Miz and Maryse. Since Cena and Bella have never teamed together, a little practice could do them some good. That brings us to next week.

Later in the show, Cena and Bella ran into Carmella and James Ellsworth in the back. A few words were exchanged and a mixed tag was set up for next week’s episode of “Smackdown Live”. This will be the first time that Bella and Cena, who are a couple in real life, have teamed together in WWE.

Opinion: You knew this one was coming and while that doesn’t make it any more interesting, it’s certainly something that we’re going to see almost no matter what. Cena and Bella are a real life couple and both wildly popular so it makes sense to have both of them in a match on the big stage. Putting them against a low level comedy act is fine and I’m sure we’ll see more of it down the line.
