Again? Stables are one of the easiest ways in the world to give several wrestlers something to do at the same time. It is something that has been done for a very long time now and it will be done again for a long time to come. Some of these stables have been better than others as there have been several who kind of come and go without much of a reaction. Now though, we might be in for a reunion.

Back in 2010, a new show called NXT debuted and…that’s about all of the connection it has to what you see today. The original NXT was a competition show featuring several rookies teamed with veterans to crown a champion. After the competition was over, the group came together on Monday Night Raw as the Nexus. Their success was hit and miss, but they certainly made an impression. It turns out they might not be done.

During a recent edition of the DropKick Podcast, Fred Rosser, formerly known as Darren Young in the Nexus, said that a Nexus reunion was likely taking place in Tampa, Florida at WrestleMania 37. This comes as Nexus leader Wade Barrett is now a broadcaster on NXT. Rosser says that the team is going to get together and take out Retribution. Last year, Rosser said that there was going to be a Nexus reunion at WrestleMania 36.

Opinion: I’m not entirely convinced this is the most serious announcement as while Nexus might be similar to Retribution, I can’t exactly picture a showdown. Barrett doesn’t wrestle anymore and most of the team is either not wrestling or away from WWE. I’ve heard more ridiculous ideas, but I really cannot imagine WWE actually going through with this, or at least fans being overly interested.
