Sounds like a good comeback story. Earlier this year, WrestleMania 36 was one of the most unique wrestling shows that anyone has ever seen. Yes it was the biggest show of the year, but there were no fans in the arena and it took place over two nights. That made for a very different kind of show, but there were parts of it that were very well received. One such moment got more attention than most others, though now it is time to move on.

The main event of the first night of WrestleMania 36 saw the Undertaker defeat AJ Styles in a Boneyard match. The match was one of WWE’s new cinematic specials, featuring the two of them beating each other up in a graveyard until Styles was sent into a grave to give Undertaker the win. That was the last time that Styles has been seen, but now we might know about his return.

According to Post Wrestling, Styles will be making his return on this week’s Monday Night Raw, marking his first appearance since WrestleMania. Styles will likely be added to the gauntlet match for Apollo Crews’ spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match after Crews was forced to vacate his spot due to a knee injury. This week’s show was taped in advance last week.

This Styles guy has some talent. Check out some of his ladder match highlights:

Opinion: This makes as much sense as anything else as Styles has been gone for a month and can come back to get straight back into the title picture. Styles is someone who can be put into any spot no matter what and be fine, which is something that makes him all the more valuable. It wouldn’t shock me to see him win the briefcase, and that is the kind of thing that could be rather exciting.

Do you like Styles returning this way? Will he win the gauntlet match? Let us know in the comments below.
