Becky Lynch Appearing In Marvel Cinematic Universe Film

The rise continues. Every few years, you will see a wrestling star who rises up to the top of the company and show almost no signs of slowing down. It can be fascinating to watch, but it can be equally interesting to see where things go once those stars get that high up. Some things are going to change, and that might be the case for one of the biggest stars in WWE today.

Over the last year and a half, no one has risen up the ranks faster or harder than Becky Lynch. She has gone from a star in the division to the biggest star in the history of women’s wrestling. Lynch is one of the top stars in WWE over a year into her Raw Women’s Title run and that might be the case for a very long time to come. People outside of WWE are noticing too and it could be a huge deal.

According to Variety’s Kris Tapley, Lynch is going to have a part in an upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. The specific movie or part is not mentioned, but Marvel has six films scheduled to be released in the next two years. Lynch was recently announced for a cameo on the HBO series Billions, which is set to air on Sunday, May 3. Lynch has not wrestled since WrestleMania 36.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that comes with being a top wrestling star. Lynch is someone with a unique look who has appeared on screen before. Let her get see what she can do elsewhere, because it could mean a lot for her future. I have no idea if she is going to be a star in the acting world, but getting into a Marvel movie did wonders for Batista’s career, so maybe it can help Lynch’s as well.
