Bolstering the ranks. WWE is in a weird place at the moment with a lot of names trying to get out of their contracts or at least looking around to see what options they might have outside of the company. However, not everyone is going that way as some would rather stick around the biggest company in the world. WWE has even gotten one of them to sign a fresh deal with the company.
According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Mojo Rawley has signed a new contract with WWE. While the length of the new contract is not known, WWE has been offering five year deals to most talent as of late. Rawley has been in WWE since 2016 with his most prominent win coming in the 2017 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Rawley’s most recent televised match on Monday Night Raw taking place on May 13.
Even though he hasn’t been wrestling, Rawley has had something to say. Check out his off air promo from earlier this month:
Opinion: I’m not sure how high Rawley was on WWE’s priority list but if they have him signed up now, they can at least focus on someone else for a change. Rawley has always seemed like someone WWE wants to push but they’ve never actually gone anywhere with it. Maybe that can change in the future, but given all the people they can’t get on the show at the moment, I wouldn’t get my hopes up.
What do you think of Rawley? Will he ever get a successful push? Let us know in the comments below.
