That’s just horrible. Injuries can slow down any career and there isn’t much that can be done to stop them. Any kind of a move can take someone out of action and it is never good to see. Some of them are a lot worse than others and there is little scarier than seeing someone coming up hurt, as you never know how bad it might be. This time around, it’s pretty bad.
The AEW women’s division has come a long way in a short amount of time. The division got off to a rocky start but things have started to click in the last few months. That is partially due to some incredibly talented wrestlers out there and some of them are a lot more unique than others. However, one of the most unique ones is going to be on the shelf for a very long time.
Kris Statlander has announced that she has torn her ACL and will need surgery to repair the injury. Statlander hurt her knee on a suicide dive during this week’s Dynamite, when she landed on Kip Sabian. There is no word on when she will be having surgery, but the recovery time for such a surgery could put her out of the ring for around nine months. Statlander has said that she will attempt to be on TV as much as possible during her recovery.

Statlander is rather different. Check out some of her moments:
Opinion: That’s horrible to hear as there is nothing good about someone being injured in any way, especially if someone is going to be out of action for that long. Hopefully Statlander is back sooner than later, as she is one of the more unique characters in AEW. It’s never good for someone to be out of action for any length of time and that’s a rather awful thing to hear about.
What do you think of Statlander? How far can she go when she gets back? Let us know in the comments below.
