So the solution is to do more of it? To say “205 Live” hasn’t been the best received show in the world would be quite the understatement. The fans tend to not stick around for the tapings after “Smackdown Live” wraps up and the show, including its title, doesn’t seem to be the strongest in the world. That makes a new decision all the more surprising.

According to PWInsider.com by way of 411mania.com, WWE will be presenting “205 Live” branded house shows starting in January. While this won’t be a full time idea, there will be two to three shows one weekend a month. There are currently no dates announced after the January shows and some potential February shows. The shows will be run in smaller venues ala “NXT” house shows with venues to be announced.

Could this man be a featured attraction on the shows?

The 205 Live Superstars draw the line in the sand for Hideo Itami: WWE Now

Opinion: Uh….well alright then. I’m really not sure I get this line of thinking as the regular show isn’t exactly the most popular thing. These shows could be nothing short of a disaster from an attendance perspective, even if the ticket prices are low. If I’m not going to watch the show when it’s on the WWE Network, why would I pay to go and see it?
