GLOW star Kia Stevens aka former WWE and Impact Wrestling Superstar Awesome Kong has undergone surgery, providing her fans with an update on the operation.

Kong revealed she would be going under the knife to fix an issue she has had with her back, as reported by Ryan Satin on Pro Wrestling Sheet.

Kong revealed that the twenty-minute outpatient surgery was necessary in helping her walk properly in the future.  She explained a little of what was going on in the Instagram video below:

She would follow this up with a pho. The photo showed Kong providing the thumbs up. It appears as if the surgery was a success and the recovery process will now begin. Check it out:

Kong actively still competes in the ring but is slowly making the transition over into acting after the success she had with the popular GLOW series on Netflix.
