The world of wrestling can be emotionally and physically exhausting. No wrestler is safe from the risks at hand. Australian superstar Emma is no stranger to this, having had several recent injuries preventing her from competing.

WrestlingInc by way of Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that she is expected to be cleared to compete by mid-June.

Emma had suffered a shoulder injury during a WWE Live Event on May 7 while on the European tour in Liverpool, England. The match saw her team alongside Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss against Sasha Banks, Bayley and Mickie James. This would occur after she took a bad landing from Sasha’s double knee drop on the turnbuckle. This caused the referee to throw up the dreaded “X” signal causing the match to abruptly stop.

Emma previously returned to action on the April 3 edition of “Raw” after suffering a back injury in May 2016. For months she was was hyped to return as “Emmalina” but the gimmick was dropped the day she debuted as the character, reverting back to “Emma”.

Wrestling Rumors will keep you up to date on her condition.

Emma is coming soon: Raw, March 13, 2017

Editor’s Note:

As an Australian and huge fan of women’s wrestling, Emma is my favorite female wrestler both currently and of all time, so I hate seeing her injured. I know how much potential she has, though it is hard for her to showcase that when she is out on injury. I can only hope she recovers quickly and returns to great success.
