There is no shortage of news when it comes to the situation between The Hardyz and Impact Wrestling. As such, today more news has broke about the situation at hand.

WrestlingInc have explained that tensions are rising between Impact Wrestling and The Hardyz, with Impact Wrestling president Ed Nordholm leaking an email exchange he had with an employee of WWE.

The email exchanges see Nordholm asking the employee if rumors are true that WWE want the ‘broken’ gimmick. The employee explains after asking around internally that they are not interested.

Dave Meltzer noted on the Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE indeed is interested in the gimmick, but is not getting involved. They do not want to set a precedent for buying ideas or gimmicks.

Meltzer also noted that WWE would not allow Hardy to use mannerisms associated with the gimmick if they didn’t want him having it. They are allowing him to continue pursuing the rights, but they don’t want to be involved.

Editor’s Note:

The Hardyz and Impact Wrestling seem to always have something to say on any given day. It comes as no surprise to me personally that WWE are interested in, but staying out of the ‘broken’ gimmick fiasco.

Do you agree with WWE wanting to remain out of the picture? Let us know here in the comments, or over on our Facebook page or Twitter account. You can find me on Twitter at @SOSNH1995.
