Who needs light for a rematch? As you’ve probably heard, Jinder Mahal upset Randy Orton to win the Smackdown World Title this past Sunday at “Backlash 2017”. The rematch has already been confirmed for “Money in the Bank 2017” but that doesn’t mean they can’t get in a little practice first.

After last night’s “Smackdown Live” and “205 Live” tapings, Orton faced Mahal in the evening’s dark match. As you might expect, Orton had the match won with the RKO until the Singh Brothers ran in for the disqualification. After the match was over, Orton took out both brothers with an RKO each. You can see a video of some of the match below.

Opinion: That’s likely going to be the case almost every single week until the pay per view and there’s nothing wrong with that. Give the fans a reason to believe they might get to see something special (though it’s not clear if the title was on the line) and then let them go home happy despite the lack of a title change. It’s worked for years before so keep at it here.

Do you like this ending for a dark match? Do you think Orton gets the title back at the pay per view? Let us know in the comments below.
