That’s right, WWE Universe you are a part of the problem right now. The CM Punk chants, the boo’s for guys like Sheamus and John Cena, lack of appreciation for in-ring talent, and all the negativity. The WWE Universe as a whole needs to bring their A-Game. You need to rediscover your love and passion for wrestling, stop being negative and appreciate the talent we currently have in the WWE. If we, the WWE Universe, can change, the WWE will change with us, and change for the better.

It is time to stop chanting the name of CM Punk. CM Punk quit. He is not someone we should be chanting, in reality you look like moron’s for chanting his name. This guy walked out on the company, and all of his fans. I don’t begrudge Punk for walking out, that is absolutely his right. If that is what he had to do to better his life, I have no problem with it. With that said, why would we chant his name? He’s not coming back any time soon. When fans chant “CM PUNK” it is a huge slap in the face of the performers in the ring while they are busting their asses in the ring to entertain YOU. That is part of the problem.

Punk is gone. Move on. Wrestler’s come and go, that’s the nature of the business. Put your focus on guys like Dolph Ziggler, Wade Barrett, Cesaro, Bo Dallas, Bray Wyatt, and any other ACTIVE wrestler. This past Monday on “Raw” fans were chanting “CM PUNK” during the Bray Wyatt/Sheamus match. A match that featured two of the top performers in the WWE, and the WWE Universe gave these guys a huge “F You”. For crying out loud, it’s been almost six months since CM Punk walked out. Six Months! It is time for the WWE Universe to move on, he dumped you. There’s plenty of other fish in the sea, you deserve better, you’re better off with out him, its him not you, and besides you’re better then him any ways. Feel better? Good, now no more CM Punk chants!

Time to move on to John Cena. I will never understand all of the hate for John Cena. The man has carried the WWE for almost a decade. Guys like “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and The Rock can not claim that. He gives everything he has for the business. When he get’s injured, he comes back faster then anyone could predict. How? He work’s his butt off to get back and entertain. His passion for the business is evident in everything he does. Cena is genuinely a good person. He does not do all of the charity work he does because he forced to do it. He does it because he knows what it means to the people that he is helping. This man changes lives on a daily basis. What have you done lately?

Let’s try and examine why so many in the WWE Universe hate John Cena. “He can’t wrestle!” Really? He can’t wrestle? Some of the best matches of the past decade include John Cena. His matches with Edge, CM Punk, Shawn Michaels, and most recently Bray Wyatt are phenomenal. You think John Cena can’t wrestle? Go back and watch his 45 minute match with Shawn Michaels on the April 23, 2007 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” To this day that is one of my favorite matches of all time. Also, when all of you were marking out for Cena back in 2004, could he “not wrestle” then? Next, argument against Cena, “He never changes his character!” There is some validity to this argument. Would John Cena benefit from a heel turn? Absolutely. Infact, I am very confident that Cena would agree, I imagine at some point he would have liked to turn heel, but the man brings in $100 million a year for the company. Do you really think the WWE is willing to give that away? Of course not. So don’t be mad at John Cena, be mad at the WWE. “His promo’s are corny/cheesy.” Again, there is some validity to this argument. However, he is still one of the best workers on the mic in the entire company. The way Cena can transition from funny and easy going, to serious and ass kicker, shows a range most guys just do not have. Cena can hold his own with the best, as he proved in the work he did with The Rock and CM Punk. The last main complaint I hear about John Cena is that he buries other performers. Does he really? Let’s take a look at a few of the people he has put over, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Bray Wyatt, Dolph Ziggler, Edge, The Miz, to name a few. At the end of the day it is creative decision’s, not Cena’s, on who wins the matches. Again, don’t be mad at John Cena, be mad at the WWE.

It is time for the WWE Universe to get off the “Hate John Cena” bandwagon. At this point it’s just annoying. Cena has done more for the WWE then arguably any other wrestler in the past 50 years. By hating so much on Cena, you actually diminish the effect him losing has. When he does put someone over, it does not have the same impact as a “Stone Cold” or The Rock would have because of fans reaction to Cena. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but please, let’s have an intelligent opinion. If you really wanted John Cena’s character to change, say nothing at all. The most powerful crowd reaction you can do, is say absolutely nothing.

Perhaps the most dispicable thing the WWE Universe does is not recognize how amazing some of the talent WWE has right now. Superstars like Paige, Emma, Tyson Kidd, Kofi Kingston, Damien Sandow, Justin Gabriel, Natalya, Rusev, and Adam Rose do not get near the appreciation they deserve to get. How can you not be excited about Paige? She is the best woman wrestler the WWE has produced since Mickie James. She single handily changed the perception of the Diva’s Division when she debuted the night after “Wrestlemania 30”. Yet, due the crowd not being invested, Vince McMahon is already second guessing her. You know why he is having second thoughts? Probably because the WWE Universe chooses to chant “JBL” or “Jerry” during her matches. Fans need to stop these pointless chants. You paid good money to attend these events, and you’re not going to pay attention to the matches? The meaningless chants need to come to an end. Voice your opinion through cheers and boos, but appreciate the current time we have in the WWE. We are witnessing some of the best talent in the industry, and they are putting on phenomenal matches on a weekly basis.

The final problem I see with the WWE Universe is really directed at the Internet Wrestling Community (IWC). Why is everything so negative? The tweets and comments I see are typically so negative. “Cena sucks,” “Triple H is an idiot,” “Michael Cole is awful” (ok, that one is valid) “The Streak should not have ended,” “Sheamus is a Cena wannabe,” and the list can go on forever. We are witnessing an amazing time in wrestling right now. New stars are developing in front of our eyes on a weekly basis. The new stars you have all been demanding for years have arrived. Bray Wyatt, Seth Rollins, Wade Barett, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, Cesaro, and Daniel Bryan will lead this company moving forward. Be critical, but also appreciate what is currently happening. I have news for you, the Attitude Era is not coming back. PG is here to stay. Don’t try and compare today’s product to then. It’s a different time, it will never be the same. However, just because it will not be the Attitude Era, does not mean we will not get great, weekly entertainment. Who knows, maybe these young stars will create a period that eclipses the Attitude Era, don’t be shocked if they do.

It is time for the WWE Universe to step up. I am calling for a revolution! No more shall we chant for CM Punk. No more shall we chant that John Cena sucks. No more shall we chant about the irrelevant. No more shall we be so negative and unhappy. It is time for us to take back what is ours. What is that you ask? We will take back our show. We will take it from those who claim to love wrestling, but have no idea what Ring of Honor or New Japan is. We will take it back for TRUE wrestling fans. That is what is lacking from the WWE Universe, true, die hard wrestling fans. We can cause change in the WWE. Look what we did for Daniel Bryan. Now, more then ever we can effect change. So I say to you, wrestling fans of the world unite!

WWE Universe, you have been Burned!
