We’d like to say this is the start of a secret plan to bring over some of the top talents from indie wrestling’s biggest promotion to WWE, with Mick Foley taking on his role of GM in real life.

But we cannot. This, instead, is just a cool story of wrestling worlds colliding.

Mick ran into a handful of big Ring of Honor names at the airport recently, including Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, and the Young Bucks.

Foley’s got nothing but praise for the others, despite being a self-proclaimed “WWE guy.” In fact, he says getting the chance to congratulate guys like the Young Bucks on their continued success was “goosebump” inducing.

You might not know that the the Bucks actually had a couple of very brief stints in WWE. A clip of one such moment, where they portrayed Triple H and Shawn Michaels as Degeneration X, has recently been making the rounds.

Frankie also had his moment in WWE, briefly wrestling there in 2005–though we’re absent any truly notable clips.

In any case, it’s great to see talent from all sides of the business having some good moments together. As ugly as the industry can be, there’s still (occasionally) a sense of family about it.

Would you want to see any of these guys hit WWE? Let us know in the comments, or on Facebook!
