Why Hasn’t Emmalina Debuted Yet? The Most McMahon Reason Possible

So, Emma has been gone for a very long time. There’s a reason why her return has been delayed–an absolutely stupid one.

Emma was injured in May last year. On an October edition of Raw, promos began airing for the return of a newer, sexier Emmalina. Those promos kept happening, until she was set to debut on a December episode of Raw–and didn’t.

The promos kept getting sexier, and the return kept getting delayed. Now the promos aren’t happening at all. According to one astute fan, we’re almost to the point where Emmalina’s return has been promised for a longer amount of time than her injury rehab lasted.

So what gives? I’m not sure you’re ready for this. Turns out, the whole thing is a joke.

Which is a huge bummer.

If you’ve forgotten Emma’s set of matches against Paige for the NXT Women’s Championship, then let me remind you–they were great. Before the Four Horsewomen rebuilt WWE’s vision of women’s wrestling, Emma and Paige were the ones who rekindled that interest in the first place. What’s happened with both of them in the meantime, well… It’s disappointing, to say the least.
