It’s time to restock the shelves. With the NXT Women’s Division decimated by all of the call-ups over the last year and a half, some fresh talent is really needed. That’s where NXT tends to specialize though as they can bring in so many extra names for just such an emergency. Luckily enough, they just happened to have one recently.

According to Squared Circle Sirens by way of 411mania.com, several female indy talents appeared at a recent tryout for a chance at NXT. The two biggest names are Shimmer star Nicole Matthews and former TNA Knockout Lei’D Tapa. Other names include Renee Michelle, Reka Rena, Hungarian IFBB fitness model competitor; Stephanie Rowe, NPC figure competitor; Hyaneyoung of Reality of Wrestling; Miranda Salines, an ROW indie talent and Anna Theresa, Ms. New York 2016.

I’ve never been a fan of Tapa but she can basically be a lighter version of Nia Jax. While I’m not sure if Tapa will make it, you have to imagine that some of the names on this list will get to NXT, if nothing else to help fill in some of the names. The fact that Tapa used to be in TNA will help her, but I never thought she was all that great in the first place.

Were you a fan of Tapa’s time in TNA? Could she make it in TNA? Let us know in the comments below.
