#10: “Man Called Sting” – Sting (early 90’s)

Say what you will about the cheesiness of this theme and it’s lyrics…but WCW fans in the early 90’s lost their MINDS once this song would hit. And let’s face it, the early years of entrance music weren’t all that awesome, and the songs mostly just consisted of “hokey-bubblegum-pop” licks that wouldn’t really work anywhere else EXCEPT for in professional wrestling.

The songs that managed to connect with the fans however, became…dare I say…”Iconic”. Sting’s “Man Called Sting” was definitely that, and every time his music would start, you knew you were about to hear a WCW crowd go wild.
