Just two days removed from his release from WWE, Matt Striker has made his first appearance for an independent wrestling promotion.

Striker appeared on FWE’s Welcome To The Rumble 2 iPPV on Friday, where he was part of the broadcast’s announce team. Striker was introduced prior to the show and stated that he was now able to ‘call moves properly’ and ‘bring up a wrestlers history without getting in trouble’.

Striker also took part in the show’s main even ‘Rumble’ match. After the event, Striker tweeted his thoughts on working for FWE.
