PWInsider.com is reporting some interesting news regarding WWE’s upcoming plans for Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler, who lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Alberto Del Rio Sunday night at WWE Payback, could be on the fast track to winning the title back at SummerSlam. Many WWE officials believe that Ziggler regaining the World Title would sell as a big SummerSlam moment.

If Ziggler and Del Rio do not have a match for the World Heavyweight Championship at Money In The Bank, then it is believed that Ziggler will win the World Tile “MITB” briefcase, and then cash it in for a shot at the strap at SummerSlam in August. WWE officials believe that Ziggler is best used as a babyface until then, as a “double turn” like the one that happened between himself and Del Rio is very rare and would be a missed opportunity for the WWE if they did not capitalize off of the momentum a turn like that brings to a program. They also believe that as soon as they want Ziggler to be heel again, it would be very easy to re-turn him back into one of the most hated personalities in the business.
