As we reported previously, the WWE wants to have the Undertaker return for a match at WWE SummerSlam. Not only do they want the Undertaker to compete at SummerSlam, but they also want “the Dead Man” to pick up where he left off in April and be in a program with the Shield upon his return. F4Wonline.com is reporting that WWE officials were the ones that told United States Champion Dean Ambrose attempt ‘Taker’s “Old School” move at WWE Payback in order to “mock” the Undertaker and keep their recent altercation fresh on the minds of the WWE Universe.

Multiple references to the Shield’s involvement with ‘Taker were made during Payback and the following night on Monday Night Raw. Officials believe that a Shield vs Brothers of Destruction match would be a high selling point for SummerSlam, and they are trying to get “The Phenom” to sign off on the match as soon as possible. Those backstage believe that if ‘Taker signs off on the match soon, that the WWE will begin to hype it instantly. Hints and teases about the Undertaker’s return may begin happening from week to week before Money In The Bank, but many feel that at July’s PPV may be the official beginning of a new program between the 2 parties.
