WWE has the final entrants named for the 2nd annual André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 31 on WWE.com. There are apparently only going to be 20 contestants in this year’s Battle Royal, instead of 31 like in 2014.
The following names are the confirmed entrants for the 2nd annual André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 31:
.) The Miz
.) Ryback
.) Titus O’Neal
.) Darren Young
.) Fandango
.) Adam Rose
.) Zack Ryder
.) Jack Swagger
.) Curtis Axel
.) Big Show
.) Kane
.) Damien Mizdow
.) Erick Rowan
.) Sin Cara
.) Mark Henry
.) Goldust
.) Konnor
.) Viktor
.) Heath Slater
.) TBD NXT Superstar (Adrian Neville Rumored)
Sheamus has long been rumored as a returning entrant for the Battle Royal or the Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match, although they would either have to add him on March 29 as an extra competitor, or he’d have to take one of the previously announced entrants out prior to the match. Curtis Axel would be the man likely to be removed from the bout physically by Sheamus before he can enter, much like what happened at the 2015 “Royal Rumble” PPV.
Editor’s Note:
I think Sheamus doesn’t return until “Monday Night Raw” on March 30. While it would be cool to see him return and run the gauntlet all everyone in the Battle Royal, the company needs some sort of surprise return on March 30. My guess, it’s Sheamus.
