New details have surfaced regarding John Cena taking some time off from WWE following the “Hell In A Cell” pay-per-view. According to PWInsider Elite, he is stepping away for personal reasons, putting in this request back in the summer. His co-workers have reached out to him to see if everything is OK, and the leader of the “CeNation” insists that he is fine, despite remaining very guarded about his reasons for wanting to step away for a little bit.
He is scheduled to return at WWE Live Events after the Christmas holiday.
It has been previously reported that Cena is rumored to face Dolph Ziggler for the United States Championship at “Hell In A Cell.” Ziggler accidentally superkicked Cena in the closing segment of last week’s “Monday Night Raw,” in an encounter with The New Day.
Editor’s Note:
The guy works 300+ days a year, makes several wishes for the “Make-A-Wish” foundation come true, and has grossed the most merchandise revenue in the history of the company. He just wants some time off to recharge the batteries – and there is NOTHING wrong with that!
