Has Blue Pants gone from fan favorite to out the door in just a few months?

According to PWInsider.com, independent wrestler Leva Bates, known in NXT as Blue Pants, may be done with the company. Word backstage in NXT this week is that WWE has no plans to use her anytime soon.

It was being said that Bates often made comments that rubbed other NXT talents the wrong way but what she said was never meant with malicious intent. Bates apparently made some mistakes in speaking her mind about her character and role within NXT. This bother some of the talent backstage, however, as her role was to help other talent backstage.

Upon her initial debut, Bates had been over with the NXT fans. While she had gotten over, she had never officially signed a WWE contract.

Blue Pants was an integral part of helping the current NXT Tag Team Champions, The Vaudevillians, win the titles back at “NXT Takeover:Brooklyn.”

At the time, The Vaudevillians had been feuding with Blake and Murphy, who with the assistance of Alexa Bliss, constantly found ways to retain their tag team titles due to their extra person advantage. At “NXT Takeover: Brooklyn,” Blue Pants came to the aid of The Vaudevillians, helping them win the titles.

This was one of the instances that helped get Bates over with the NXT crowd, something she continued to do over the last few weeks. However, if she is indeed rubbing superstars the wrong way, that does not bode well for her future.

Update:

Bates has taken to Twitter, responding to reports about how she has rubbed wrestlers the wrong way:

Editor’s Note:

I really don’t have much to say here regarding Blue Pants. It seem as though the fans liked her, but as the talent in NXT continues to improve, even the slightest issues can get you “future endeavored.”
