It seems like wrestling or not, Daniel Bryan will be part of WWE for a long time.

WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan is currently recovering from several concussions that happened around the time of WrestleMania 31. Due to his extensive injury history that spans even back to his time on the independent scene, it has been noted that WWE is hesitant to clear Bryan for competition.

Bryan has stated on several occassions that he plans to wrestling again, whether in a WWE ring or not. In addition, as previously reported, WWE was sending Bryan to get a third opinion on his injury, in hopes of clearing him in the near future.

Now, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE has no plans on releasing Bryan from his contract. Bryan still has several years remaining on his contact, and with his injury status still uncertain, the situation regarding next steps becomes very unclear.

With WWE cracking down on concussion related injuries due to recent lawsuits, the future of the “YES” Movement is very much up-in-the-air.

Editor’s Notes:

I am getting a little tired of all of this back and forth. I understand they are concerned with his health, but if a doctor clears him for competition, they should just let Bryan go. They need him now more than ever.
