Bayley Talks “NXT Takeover: Respect” Iron Man Match Against Sasha Banks

After having a week or so to digest what she just accomplished, Bayley has spoken out about her match at “NXT Takeover:Respect.”

At “NXT Takeover:Respect,” NXT Divas Champion Bayley faced off against former champion Sasha Banks in the first ever 30 minute Iron Man Match for the Divas title. The match has received tons of praise online, with many WWE Superstars and Legends reacting about the match on their official social media accounts.

Bayley stated that she just finished reading all of the tweets regarding her match against Banks, and posted the following letter to her fans on her official Twitter account:

“I’ve been trying to find the words to express how I’m feeling after Takeover and I can’t quite describe it. My 10 year old self is freaking out at the thought of being a part of WWE history. But even back then I never imagined having as much support as we did going into the match and after. From everyone! From the company, our peers, and most importantly..the fans. As much as I dreamt abut this, I couldn’t have dreamt up a better person to share this with. I couldn’t have done it without Sasha. We share the same passion to go above and beyond our own hopes and everyone’s expectations. This is only the beginning.”

The WWE Universe has been exploding with appreciation for these two ladies over the past week, and rightfully so. If you haven’t watch the match yet, I demand that you go back and watch it as soon as possible. Bayley will be up on the main roster sooner rather than later, and hopefully matches like these will be a mainstay on “Monday Night Raw.” Now that Banks has gotten her rematch, who will contend for Bayley’s title now?
