Despite appearing at this past Thursday’s NXT tapings, it is being reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, that former TNA Heavyweight Champion James Storm has not yet signed his WWE contract. The Newsletter also states that TNA has since offered Storm another contract with more money, to try to bring Storm back.

Storm was originally part of World Championship Wrestling in 2000, as an enhancement talent, and did not come to WWE when they bought out WCW in 2001. Storm would then return to the independent scene until signing with TNA in 2002.
Storm would find great success in TNA, winning a total of 13 tag team championships, and one World Title run. Storm found most of his success with Chris Harris, winning six titles with Harris. He also won four championships with Bobby Roode, as well as one with Gunner, Christopher Daniels, and Abyss.
Storm debuted as part of the NXT tapings for October 21, which is when the episode will air. A link to the list of the spoilers for this taping, click the link here.

Editors Note:

This seems similar to what happened when Samoa Joe debuted, but I do think Storm will eventually sign with WWE if he hasn’t already.
