On behalf of the wrestling universe, fans should wish a happy birthday to the Human Suplex Machine – Tazz.

Born on the mean streets of  Red Hook, Brooklyn in 1967 as Peter Senerchia, Tazz wrestled under the names Kid Krush, The Tasmanian Devil, Taz and finally Tazz.

Most know Tazz from his days with ECW where he held a nine month reign as during his two championship reigns until he signed with WWE in 2002. Tazz debuted in the perfect fashion–at home in Madison Square Garden Against Kurt Angle.

During his time with the WWE, Tazz held the WWE Tag Team Championship with Spike Dudley for a month before losing it to Billy Gunn and Chuck Palumbo. Due to injuries, Tazz eventually made his mark as a commentator.

He brought his commentary, under the name Taz, to TNA around 2009 and served in that role until April of this year.
