John Cena And Nikki Bella Post Messages On Their Cancelled Wedding Day

It had been previously reported that John Cena and Nikki Bella have split up as a couple, and will no longer be getting married. They were set to wed today, Saturday, May 5 in Mexico City.

The duo have each posted messages on their respective social media accounts, with inspirational messages for their fans. Nikki posted a quote on her Instagram account which simply reads:

“Chin up princess or the crown slips.”

While Cena wrote:

It has also been rumored that this break-up is a work, in order to garner publicity for the upcoming season of Total Bellas, but there is no confirmation on that at this point.

Editor’s Opinion:

A couple of things that I am taking away from this. First is that, they would naturally be getting married in Mexico on Cinco De Mayo. Second, this could be therapeutic for the couple, as they attempt to move forward with their lives.
