According to a report from WWE.com, WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has tested positive for COVID-19 and has been placed in quarantine. No further details have been released at this time regarding his condition and plans for him in January.
McIntyre was originally scheduled to face Randy Orton in the main event of tonight’s episode of RAW. WrestleVotes has sent out a tweet regarding WWE’s plans:

If you think about it, this is a best-case scenario, if this had to happen. McIntyre will be able to take the month of January to recover and be ready to go for the Royal Rumble. Having had this thing last year, I can tell you that this disease is no joke and is as potent as everyone says that is. We all wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back in the ring very soon!
