One of the biggest free agents in the world of professional wrestling today is CM Punk. His name is chanted at several shows throughout the year, and he is still a favorite amongst wrestling fans around the world.
But will we see him back in WWE?
According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there are many higher ups in WWE who do not like him or want him back with the company. However, they also don’t want him to go to another promotion, namely AEW, because they know what a big draw he is to fans.
He recently tried out to be an analyst for FOX’s new WWE Backstage Show that will be airing on FS1.

I am not a Punk guy and do not want to see him anywhere near WWE ever again. However, I also understand that this is a business and things can change over time. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him back in WWE in some capacity, but I really don’t think it will happen anytime soon.
