Alberto El Patron Being Investigated for Domestic Battery

TMZ is reporting that GFW World Heavyweight Champion Alberto El Patron was involved in an incident at the Orlando airport on Sunday afternoon.

According to the report, the Orlando Police Department was contacted at around 3 PM after El Patron allegedly “roughed up” a female companion. Witnesses say that he and the woman were arguing in the terminal and the cops were called due to “things escalating.”

It is unknown at this time if the female was his girlfriend, Paige, however we do know that she was with him at the airport that day.

As of now, no charges have been pressed. However, the Orlando Police Department released the following statement regarding the incident:

“There was an incident at Orlando International Airport at about 3 p.m. Sunday involving Jose Rodriguez (El Patron) (DOB 5/25/1977) The reported incident was a domestic violence battery, and it is still under investigation. No arrests have been made as of this time, but the case remains open. That is all the information we have for release at this time.”

Clearly, this man has some serious problems. This is not the first time that we have heard of issues with El Patron’s conduct, and GFW needs to be careful with which talent that they have in their company. They are trying to rebuild their image, and having their world champion in legal trouble is not a good way to start.
