WWE released the following statement this morning, announcing the following suspensions of both Adam Rose of the Social Outcasts, as well as Konnor of The Ascension:

STAMFORD, Conn. – In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Raymond Leppan (Adam Rose) and Ryan Parmeter (Konnor) each for 60 days effective immediately for a second violation of the company’s policy.

This is the first suspension in the company due to the wellness policy since Hornswoggle was suspended last year.

Rose is currently a part of The Social Outcasts alongside Heath Slater, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel. Their last major storyline was their involvement in the build for the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania, which was won by Baron Corbin.

Konnor is currently a member of The Ascension. He was last seen on WWE programming this past week on “Smackdown,” losing to Enzo Amore and Big Cass in the first round of the tournament to crown new no. 1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Editor’s Note:

The timing could not be worse for these two. Not only are they not being used in storylines on television, but with the new influx of NXT talent being called up, it is even more likely that these two will be lost in the shuffle. Hopefully this incident will not have too much of a negative effect on their careers, but only time will tell.
