The latest season of Total Divas has been a roller coaster ride of ratings and other issues. The next season is going to see dramatic shifts in the featured women of WWE, but also in the Bella Twins, who are arguably the face of the program.

Nikki Bella’s neck issues have been a major storyline this season and will be into the next season as well. Brie just retired from pro wrestling following Wrestlemania 32. There is a lot of speculation about the status of The Bella Twins in WWE and on Total Divas.

The following statement was taken from the United States Patent & Trademark Office:

“Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing reality-based program and its participants; entertainment services, namely, an ongoing show about professional wrestlers and professional wrestling; entertainment services, namely, the production and exhibition of professional wrestling events rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling and entertainment news and information via a global computer network; sports entertainment rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment; fan club services; organizing and staging entertainment events with fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely, blogs, in the fields of sports entertainment”

WWE has filed for the term “Total Bellas”, which they are claiming is for reality-based use, merchandise, clothing, apps and other areas.

However, it could also be utilized to keep the Bella brand continuing after wrestling and perhaps even give them their own spin-off of Total Divas given Brie’s retirement and Nikki’s limitations in the squared circle.
