Paige Credits Ronda Rousey for Being Huge Part of Divas Revolution

WWE Diva Paige was recently interviewed by The Sun UK to promote “Total Divas” and the ongoing Divas Revolution on weekly television.

She praised current UFC Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey, and how her rise to fame in MMA has been a huge catalyst behind Divas in World Wrestling Entertainment getting more of the spotlight shined on them.

“That’s the way the world’s going right now, with the whole Ronda Rousey phenomenon — and I’m proud of her for saying what she did to Floyd Mayweather,” Paige said.

“I was, like: ‘Good one!’”

“She’s a great role model for all us women — and definitely, I feel like she’s a huge part of that [the Divas’ revolution] too.”

“Just her appearance at ‘Mania really helped as well, and her main eventing UFC and just becoming such a dominant force in the entertainment and sports worlds.”

“Yeah, I think it all the time, she’s amazing. It’s her, it’s all her!”

When asked about Rousey possibly appearing at WrestleMania 32 next year, Paige remained optimisitc.

“If Ronda makes an appearance and Dwayne makes an appearance, that’d be great,” she added. “If Stephanie wrestles, who knows?”
