WWE NXT Diva Billie Kay, formerly known as Jessie McKay, suffered an injury at the hand’s of Dana Brooke during last night’s NXT Live Event in Orlando.

McKay was teaming with Carmella to take on the team of Brooke and Eva Marie, when her nose started bleeding after taking regular ring bumps.

The match was stopped and ended in a No Contest. Several fans in attendance reported that it looked as though Brooke broke Kay’s nose, but Kay was able to make it to the back under her own power.

In an update provided by PWinsider.com, Kay seems to have avoided a major injury. She later took to Twitter, letting her fans know that she is fine:

We here at WrestlingRumors.net wish Kay a speedy recovery.

Editor’s Note:

It seems as though the referee decided to stop the match for safety reasons. Since blood was involved, it makes sense to air on the side of caution. I am glad that there were no major injuries to report, and we can continue to see the fine work these ladies are doing down in NXT.
