NWA Powerrr has brought back a much-appreciated feel to professional wrestling. For those who were fans of old-school studio wrestling, Billy Corgan, Dave Lagana, and the rest of the production team have done a fantastic job reviving the nostalgic feel in old-school wrestling, even having amateur looking commercials during the episode.
Over the past few weeks, those who were not aware that NWA has risen in popularity over the past years – especially due to their partnerships with New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor – are now exposed to the weekly YouTube show, and the reviews have been unanimously positive.
To jump on this wave of pro wrestling exposure, with WWE, AEW, NWA, ROH, Impact, New Japan, and MLW being popular promotions, another promotion with rich history has included itself in the mix.
Ohio Valley Wrestling, founded in 1993 by “Nightmare” Danny Davis, is now owned by former WWE Tag Team, Hardcore and European Champion Al Snow. OVW announced on Twitter that they are now going to be live on Tuesday Nights via YouTube.
The boss has spoken, and according to @TheRealAlSnow…
Starting TONIGHT, We'll do it LIVE!

WWE referee Chris Sharpe congratulated OVW for the milestone moment.

OVW has a rich history of being the former stomping grounds of numerous WWE talent.
Names who have reigns as OVW Champion include former WWE Champions Batista, John Cena, and CM Punk, former Intercontinental Champions Cody Rhodes and Ryback, former United States Champion Rhino, and former Tag Team Champions, Nick “Eugene” Dinsmore, Doug Basham, Danny Basham, Rico Constantino, Rob Conway, Johnny Jeter, and Evan Bourne.
To continue the NWA and WCW tradition, NWA Powerrr drops new episodes every Tuesday at 6:05pm ET. Although Powerrr will not be going head-to-head with OVW, fans are going to see both shows drop on the same evening. Also, to continue to fill the week with wrestling content, AEW Dark also airs weekly episodes on YouTube every Tuesday Night.
