Per WrestleZone, The Undertaker is scheduled to compete against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36 in Tampa, Florida. This will be the first time Undertaker competed in the ring since his tag team match with Roman Reigns against Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre at Extreme Rules, as well as his first time competing at WrestleMania since defeating John Cena in 2018.

Former Impact Wrestling World Champion Brian Cage was on the Pancakes and Powerslams Show, and shared his thoughts on how he felt about that match. Although he respects what The Undertaker has done, and feels that it is a unique match, Undertaker losing at WrestleMania twice now takes a lot of the allure away from it, which does not make it as important for Styles.

“Oh, [Undertaker vs. AJ Styles] would be rad,” said Cage. “I mean, well, well I’ll tell you what. The Mania match with Taker, obviously Taker, you know, he can still pull out a little bit. He’s not himself. But also, not that he’s lost, and lost more than once, it’s not the same. And that’s kind of a unique match-up, but, I mean, just to throw it out there as a fan, too, I think that’s – no insult to Taker, but I think that’s – a little bit of a waste of AJ’s talent. I feel like he could be in a much better, solid, you know, wrestling match, as opposed to that. I don’t think he needs, he doesn’t need that rub, and I don’t know how much that rub is anymore anyways, but I would prefer to see AJ in a different match.”

Cage tore his bicep right before his Hard to Kill pay-per-view match against Rob Van Dam, which caused the match to be changed up, and Cage fall victim to a Van Terminator, then replaced by Daga. He just had surgery a few weeks ago, and you can view the video above (timestamps included) of when he is expected to make his in-ring return.
