A recent article by CableFax.com revealed that USA Network will be the top ranked cable network in prime time in terms of total viewers. This will be the eighth consecutive year that USA Network will earn that honor and it will be official when the recording year ends on Sunday, Dec. 29.

In the article, the website noted that USA has WWE to thank in large part for its continued success. Due to “Monday Night Raw” bringing in a range of three to four million viewers each week, its numbers greatly improve. In fact, without WWE, USA Network would fall somewhere between the number four and five slot for prime time viewership.
