Triple H is still slated to face CM Punk at WrestleMania XXX, says the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The culmination of the feud will be the major piece of The Authority storyline, the report suggests, as Punk has been the centerpiece of anti-authority action in WWE since 2011.

Briefly, Punk and HHH feuded in 2011 at Night of Champions when Punk’s scheduled match with Kevin Nash could not take place due to Nash failing medical tests that would have cleared him to fight. Triple H ultimately defeated Punk that night, but the two became allies shortly thereafter.

A feud was teased upon the ending of the Dec. 9 episode of Monday Night Raw, after Punk laid out Triple following a scrum.

However, the report also suggests another name may be in mind should the company choose not to use Punk. Roman Reigns has been teasing a split with The Shield as of late, and officials reportedly are strongly considering putting the former Tag Team Champion against The Game at the big event. This would require a complete turn in character by Reigns.
