Over the past couple of days, there have been rampant rumors that current WWE superstar Brock Lesnar would be returning to the UFC. Lesnar was with the UFC from 2008 to 2011 and became the longest reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion in UFC history with a reign of 707 days.

Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting.com recently interviewed UFC President Dana White and asked him about the swirling rumors about Lesnar. White was hesitant at first but did reveal that Lesnar would not be at the UFC 168 pay-per-view on Saturday, Dec. 28. In his previous comments about the situation, White was not clear on whether Lesnar would attend the event.

White responded to Helwani’s question by saying the following:

“I don’t know. If there was something there and I hadn’t announced it, why would I tell you anyway… You don’t worry about what’s going on with Brock, if something happens with Brock, you’ll know about it.”
