On December 17, 2013, WWE taped both “WWE Main Event” and “Monday Night Raw” in Austin, Texas. The “WWE Main Event” taping was for the December 18 edition of the program, while the “Monday Night Raw” taping was for the December 23 Christmas special.

The following are the spoilers for the December 23 edition of “Monday Night Raw:”

JBL and Michael Cole are the only two that came out for commentary. Jerry “The King” Lawler did not enter.

The Authority begin RAW by handing out Santa Claus hats to the crowd. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton then enters and is given the night off by The Authority.

1) Eva Marie, Natalya, The Bella Twins Cameron, and Naomi def. Aksana, AJ Lee, Rosa Mendes, Alicia Fox, Tamina Snuka in a 12 Divas Jingle Bells match- Natalya picked up the victory for her team by putting the “Sharpshooter” on Aksana.

2) Sin Cara def. Curtis Axel

It is announced that there will be two six-man matches later on and the main event will be CM Punk, John Cena, and Big E. Langston against The Shield.

3) The Wyatt Family def. Cody Rhodes, Goldust, and Daniel Bryan via pinfall- For most of the match, The Wyatt Family had the upper-hand. However, when Cody Rhodes got in with a hot tag the tides turned. Soon after, The Wyatt Family was able to isolate Goldust. Bryan would eventually get a hot tag and clean house. A “This is awesome” chant began as Bryan kicked Rowan. The two continue going after each other as everyone gets involved. The match ends with Bray Wyatt hitting Cody Rhodes with “Sister Abigail” for the win.

Up next is a Christmas Carol contest hosted by Renee Young. The contestants were Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre, Santino Marella and The Great Khali, and R-Truth and Xavier Woods. The Funkadactyls were out with Truth and Woods. Khali and Santino ended up winning because the crowd cheered for them the most.

4) Fandango def. Dolph Ziggler in a “Present on a Pole” match- Beforehand, it is announced that the winner of the bout will get a crack at the Intercontinental Championship on the New Year’s Eve edition of “Monday Night Raw.” Fandango picked up the victory to become the number-one contender.

5) The Usos def. Titus O’Neil and Darren Young– Darren Young faltered by addressing the crowd as, “Houston” instead of Austin during a pre-match promo. The fans ate it up with chants of “Houston sucks” and “This is Austin.” The Usos would end up getting the victory in the bout.

6) “Good Santa” Mark Henry def. “Bad Santa” Damien Sandow in a Battle for Christmas- There are Christmas trees and presents around the ring to set up the scene. The two wrestle in Santa costumes. In the match, the two open up a present which turns out to be a toilet. Sandow began to tear up some of the set, but Henry would obtain the victory and save Christmas.

7) Los Matadores def. Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro

8) Ryback def. Kofi Kingston

Next, is a backstage segment with CM Punk and Big E. Langston to hype their match against The Shield.

Bad News Barrett is ringside to cut a promo.

9) CM Punk, Big E Langston, and John Cena def. The Shield via disqualification- Big E received a hot tag from Punk and took out all three members of The Shield. Langston hit his “Big Ending”on Ambrose but Rollins and Reigns broke the pin up leading to the referee ending the match as a disqualification. Afterwards, the faces cleaned house to end RAW.
