*Spoilers* 12/20 Smackdown

On December 12, 2013, WWE taped the December 20 edition of “WWE Smackdown” in San Antonio, Texas.

The following are the spoilers for the December 20 edition of “WWE Smackdown:”

The show begins with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton. He talks about how he cemented his legacy at TLC by beating John Cena to become the first ever WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Orton then takes a shot at The Authority because they gave him a match with Daniel Bryan the following night. John Cena, followed by Daniel Bryan come out to interrupt.

Bryan confronts Orton by telling Orton that he is scared to give him a rematch. Bryan reiterates that he is better than Orton, and when Cena wins the belt, he will finally get another fair shot at championship gold. Orton calls the two idiots and says it will never happen. Out next are The Shield and CM Punk. Vickie Guerrero then comes out to announce that The Authority has made the main event for the evening. It will be a six-man tag-team match putting The Shield up against John Cena, Daniel Bryan, and CM Punk.

1) Big E Langston def. Jack Swagger- Big E gets the quick victory with Mark Henry in his corner.

2) Brie Bella def. Tamina Snuka- Divas Champion AJ Lee was on commentary for the match and Nikki Bella was in Brie’s corner. After Brie defeated Tamina in what was said to be a sloppy finish, Brie went to the announce table and shoved AJ.

Next, a Bad News Barrett segment airs.

3) Sin Cara def. Drew McIntyre

4) Tensai def. Brodus Clay- Tensai picked up the victory after Xavier Woods, Cameron, and Naomi came out to interrupt, thus distracting Brodus. After the match, Clay attacked Tensai but Woods was able to make the save.

5) Erick Rowan and Luke Harper def. Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Goldust- The match is a non-title match. After Rowan and Harper got the win, The Wyatt Family went to attack Cody but Daniel Bryan made the save as the crowd cheered him on. Bryan then challenged The Wyatt Family to a six-man match, even though he is also booked for the main event.

6) Daniel Bryan, Goldust, and Cody Rhodes def. The Wyatt Family

7) Damien Sandow def. The Miz- Before the match, Sandow ripped Christmas. The Miz came out to face Sandow but lost the match quickly due to a roll-up pin by Sandow.

8) Fandango def. Kofi Kingston

Daniel Bryan is taken out by The Wyatt Family in a backstage segment. The main event will now be a two-on-three handicap match.

9) John Cena and CM Punk def. The Shield via disqualification- The match was ended when all three Shield members attacked Punk at once. Afterwards, Reigns speared Cena and Punk was hit with a triple powerbomb. However, Big E Langston made the save and cleaned house to end the show.
