As we previously reported, WWE Superstars Sheamus and Sin Cara were reportedly involved in a real fight backstage during WWE’s tapings of its programming on May 5 and 6. The original reports were courtesy of Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Now, Justin Labar of Wrestlezone, has an update on the altercation, correcting previous reports. WWE sources informed the website that the incident had occurred a couple weeks ago, not during this week’s tapings. The reports had the company confused due to its timing and timeline of the events.
Wrestlezone was able to confirm that an incident between the two did occur. In fact, similar to the original report, it was noted that things could have gotten bad for Sheamus had the fight not been broken up. However, now, it appears that some peace was able to be made, according to Labar.
Additionally, following the news, Sheamus took to Twitter. The night the story broke, Sheamus joked about the reports, yet still left a hint that something may have occurred:

The following day, Thursday, May 8, Sheamus took to Twitter again. This time, it was a different tone for the Celtic Warrior, who took a shot at “dirt sheet heroes:”

Editor’s Note
This story has taken an interesting turn with the conflicting report from Wrestlezone, in addition to Sheamus’ shift in attitude.
