The Shield will not be splitting up anytime soon. According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The Shield are being viewed as a dominate babyface stable at the moment and WWE officials do not want to see them separated at this time.

Originally, WWE Creative and officials alike wanted to break the three young superstars up and pit them against each other in a Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania XXX. Plans changed as WrestleMania XXX began getting creatively shaped, and their dissension was put on hold.

Now, talks about a Shield split-up aren’t even happening, as officials believe that they can run as an extremely over face stable for months.

Editor’s Note:

Smart, smart, smart. These guys are SO money together, and now that they’re face, they can rake in the dough right now. Plus, I’m worried that when they do split, that Rollins may get left in a heap of mid carders, where the three of them together are main eventers at this time.
