While WWE’s blue brand is gaining a huge name this Tuesday night, as John Cena is scheduled to return to SmackDown on July 4, it looks like they could be losing a huge name shortly thereafter.

According to Cageside Seats, ex-WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton might miss some time next month, as he’s going to be filming a movie. However, he’s not expected to miss a significant amount of time.

Randy Orton is scheduled to face Jinder Mahal in a Punjabi Prison match at the Battleground show on July 23. It’ll be Orton and Mahal’s third pay-per-view match in a row, and due to WWE’s recent obsession with India, you shouldn’t expect Orton to walk out of the match with the championship.

Mahal could move on to John Cena following Battleground, as he’s rumored to be the former 16-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion’s opponent at next month’s SummerSlam show.

As for what Orton will do after his feud with Mahal concludes, well, that’s a bit tough to predict. He could move on to a feud with Baron Corbin, or perhaps AJ Styles.
